This piece is one of a set of four plates, with different motives, made by Júlio Pomar just before his departure to Paris. They were given by the artist to some close friends. It is known that two of them were broken. This is probably the remaining plate from that set.

Made at Cerâmica Bombarrelense Factory, Bombarral

Painted and glazed ceramic plate.
