A very important Cocktail Cabinet, designed by the prestigious portuguese architect Conceição Silva for his home, with doors painted by the famous artist Júlio Pomar. Only three pieces of furniture are known as having been painted by this artist. This an exclusive and rare piece of furniture design.
Painted with oil over wood panel, the composition shows a Arlequim figure playing the flute to the little girl peacock, a snail and a fluttering owl under a smiling Sun.
This same peacock motive can be seen in the ceramic tile panel, made for a interior wall decoration in the lake restaurant Botequim do Lago in Campo Grande garden, Lisboa, in 1950, one year before.
Inside with 3 different shelves and a knockable shelf.
An ultra-glamorous Home Bar that’s bound to cause a stir with guests and specially with all art lovers.
